My background
I am a Maryland resident, born and raised. I am an avid reader of romance novels, football fanatic and am a romantic to my very soul. I was lucky enough marry the man of my dreams twenty-one (21) years ago. We have raised two intelligent and brilliant children (if I do say so myself). I am a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan. Yes, I am aware I live in Maryland and there are two other teams I could root for, but I bleed blue and silver. No judging.
My writing roots
As I mentioned above, I love romance novels. My all time favorites are Nora Roberts, Susan Elizabeth Philips, Lori Foster, Jill Shalvis...I could go on and on. When my husband mentioned putting pen to paper to write my own book, I thought "why not". Of course, it would have to involve my favorite sport, football. I had no idea it would take me years of stopping and starting to finish my manuscript. Finally, with my husband's unwavering support and the encouragement of friends I pitched and sold "Touchdown Baby" and as they say "the rest is history". I am a lucky, lucky lady.
My style
I would love to say I am a dedicated, ass in seat writer. I am not. I have to carve time into my daily life to just sit at my computer (no more pen to paper) and write. The characters in my head talk to me all the time, but my "real" life has been known to shut them up.
